In Webdashboard, you can require your users to accept your organization’s own custom privacy statement alongside our standard privacy policy. This is a great way to ensure compliance with your internal legal guidelines and inform your users exactly how their personal data is processed and protected.

How it works for your users

When a user logs into Webdashboard for the first time, your custom Privacy Policy will be presented to them automatically:

  • Interactive PDF Viewer: The policy appears directly on the screen in a built-in PDF viewer.

  • Mandatory Acceptance: Users can scroll through the document to read it. Once they accept the policy, they will be granted access to the portal.

  • One-time Prompt: This screen is only shown prior to acceptance. Users will not be prompted with it again during future logins.

How to set up your Custom Privacy Policy

Setting this up is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Webdashboard environment with administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings -> Thema -> Whitelable in the main menu.

  3. Click on Custom privacy policy in the left-hand submenu.

  4. Click the blue Upload PDF button.

  5. Select the PDF document containing your organization's privacy statement from your computer and upload it.

Note: Only files in PDF format are supported. Make sure your document is up-to-date before uploading. If you ever need to update your privacy policy, simply upload a new PDF here.
